I’m debating this with my boyfriend.
He says that if he has bad credit, and I have good credit, and we get married, his bad credit will not affect me at all.
I say that when we’re married ,we share money, so any monetary problems HE has become monetary problems WE have.
Is he right, or am I?
OH, my boyfriend doesn’t have bad credit, we’re just giving a hypothetical situation! =P

I had some trouble with credit cards in the past and it’s all catching up with me now. I would like to get a loan to pay off all of my debt so I can start fresh again. I have a full-time job and I just want to get my credit back on track. It’s not that easy when you have bad credit, because nobody will approve you for a loan. Are there any places that give loans to people like me?

I am going to be taking the Basic Law Enforcement Training program this year. I should be done in December, so hopefully I’ll be finding a job around early January.

Anyway, I currently have bad credit. 545 score to be exact. I have heard it’s very difficult to become an officer with bad credit so I am seriously considering filing bankruptcy. I have heard it takes around 6 months and your credit will be as good as new and thus, hopefully I would be able to get a job as a police officer.

So, does anyone know if this is the best way to go about it?

That’s just it too. Took out 3 cards when I turned 18 maxed them, & didn’t pay them (same old story, statistic); I have an old hospital bill as well from a very bad stomach virus. Now my credit is obviously bad, that’s what you get!!! Now I am almost 23, I’m more than ready to start establishing positivies on my credit. I was going to just go the credit card route, or rent- own from Aaron’s, but, I was hit by a drunk driver a couple monthes back, and it’s priority dropped. A week or so later started exp. pain & have had to go to chirpractor from 3-2 x’s a week since- anything to not have to take pain medications, and still maintain. Recently I have taken a look at maybe taking out an unsecured signature loan to not only help re-establish my credit, as well as get a jump start on my medical bills before my settlement comes in. I would love to hear back from those that have been approved for a loan under their personal bad credit/ high risk circumstances, & actually obtained one.thanx

My mom was telling me that anyone listed in the account will suffer from bad credit even if the account is being used by one person … How is it possible to have bad credit form a bank account and is what my mom told me true?

I have a small residential and commercial cleaning business that I am looking to expand. I have been shopping around for financing through traditional lenders, but due to my 518 FICO score and millions of charge-offs, I can’t get fianancing. I have applied to a few non-profits in the state that I live in. I have also been pitching my case to some friends. I don’t have any family that can help. They all have bad credit and so do much of my friends. I really do not know anyone with cash on hand either. I have been looking into getting an angel investor or a venture capitalist, but I do not know if that’ll work. I’ve posted an ad on Prosper and I never get responses. Again, I think that this is due to my bad credit. I am seriously running out of ideas. I have 15 months invested in this and I do NOT want to give up. Does anyone have any suggestions or can anyone suggest a place that can help me? I know I need to fix my credit, but I need the money to do it. Please, please, help!
