I have about a 540 credit score and wanted to get a loan to pay off some credit cards.

We make over 80,000 a year and we have a bad credit rating because of a health issue and some not so smart choices. We are trying to get a loan to pay off everything on our credit (less than 7000.00) not counting our car loan (up in FEB 07) and our house (we owe110,000 and it is worth 135,000, but can’t get a home equity loan in TX b/c of the refiance only 80% law.) We can afford a payment of up to 475.00 a month. I have a listing on Prosper, but I only have a few bids right now. The listing is under gandbcole if you want to find out a little more about us. I just need to know where to find a private investor that wants to carry a loan for 2 yrs at a 28.75% rate. I do not mind paying the high interest if I can get rid of all the old on my credit and only have good stuff showing to improve it. What should I do? I would even sign a personal guarantee putting up the equity on my home for collateral. Just do not know where to look.

After overcoming personal and health devastation, I need to get back on my feet: however, my credit is poor and I have no assets.How can I borrow/ secure an angel investor,for the money I need to freelance from home that doesn’t put me further in debt?I have strong credentials and degrees to match, I can work from home with flexible deadlines and just need updated computer equipment and collaterals.

Especially, can I give such information for online purchases, third party transaction processors etc.? Is it safe to do so? Are there any risks or dangers involved?

Grad Plus loan carries very minimal risk-I have it covered if I die, disability is covered and I will consolidate after PhD. Have several job offers with excellent income after PhD.

I am debating trying to pay off a BIG amount($4000) and am not sure how to go about it. I don’t have the money for min. payments and don’t have any marks on my report yet. So how bad is it to get this on my credit report?

Man. My company ran out of buisness long time ago, and I need about $1000 quick cash, but my credit is bad. After all research, the only option I have seems OrchardBank. How much credit line do they offer to someone with real bad credit under 520?

I’m engaged and we have been putting off the wedding because I don’t want my bad credit to affect my fiance. Is this true? HELP!!!!

I have a very poor credit history. I am a bit desperate. I do not care about high interest rates. Ideally i would like to find a card with at least a 5000 dollar line that anyone can get. Unsecured. Does such an animal exist and if so where? Thank you! I have lots of medical bills!
